The final campaign expense report was due December 5, but a snow day that closed City Hall, made the next day the official deadline. I had a single error on my report and had to file an amended copy of Scheduale H on December 23, 2002.

Here is what the final numbers looked like:

In accordance with the provisions of Article 2, Section 24.2-906.1 of the Code Virginia, I declare that in connection
with my campaign during the 2002 Elections, that I:
 
*     have not and do not intend to solicit or accept any contribution from any other person during the course of this
       campaign;
 
*     have not and do not intend to contribute more than $1,000 to my own campaign;
 
*     have complied and will continue to comply with the requirements of Article 2 of the Act throughout the duration
       of this campaign.
 
Additionally, I declare that before I accept any contribution (including personal monies) or make any expense that
would cause my aggregate to date totals to exceed $1000, I will file a Rescind Request for Exemption form with
the Electoral Board of my city of residence and at that time will begin filing contributions and expenditures
activity on the report due immediately following the transaction which place me over the $1000 limit.
 
I further understand that failure to comply with the facts detailed above, would constitute a violation of the
Campaign Finance Disclosure Act and that I would be subject to the penalties set forth in Section 24.2-929
of the Code of Virginia.
