Click the link above to visit the home of the Richmond Coalition for a Living Wage. They are now working to get a Living Wage for workers of companies that do business within the city. In May of 2001, the campaign was victorious in gaining a living wage for all directly employed workers for Richmond.

Click the link above to visit ACORN's Living Wage website. The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, or ACORN, is the nation's oldest and largest grassroots organization of low and moderate income people with over 100,000 members in over 30 cities.

The Living Wage in Richmond is currently $8.70 an hour with healthcare benefits or $10.40 an hour without.
